Unlock the Hidden Meaning Behind Everyday Language
People say things like: “It’s like I’m hitting my head against a brick wall.” “I’m at a crossroads.” “He never puts me first.” “It feels like the weight of the world is on my shoulders.”
These aren’t just expressions. They’re maps of the unconscious and once you know how to read them, everything changes.
A New Way to Understand Human Experience
In this free 35‑minute training, you’ll learn how metaphor reveals:
- Why people get stuck
- What they’re unconsciously trying to do
- The structure of their problem
- The movement they can take next
This is the foundation of Metaphors of Movement, a modality that turns unconscious communication into conscious clarity.

About the Trainer
Hi, I’m Dale Turnbull, an Englishman living in New York, and I help people create meaningful change through training, coaching, and mentoring in Metaphors of Movement. My aim is simple: to open up new possibilities for both clients and therapists by exploring how change really works.
I got started in this field through Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), learning directly from the creators John Grinder and Richard Bandler. That experience kicked off a fascination with what is the differnece that truly makes the difference when it comes to change work. Since then, I’ve added a few more tools to my kit including Hypnosis, Provocative Change Works (PCW), Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and Metaphors of Movement (MoM).
After more than 12 years working with individuals and organizations, I’m now focused on sharing this powerful, eye-opening approach with others. If you're curious about how this change works... let’s talk.
